UKIE is the only trade body in the united kingdom interactive entertainment industry although UKIE'S name used to be ELSPA before march 2010. UKIE exist to put more of an positive image and more interests on the video games in the interactive entertainment industry.
The UKIE provides support to the games industry and represent them in political matters. They do this not for the profit but because of the passionate of games the UKIE have, they want to support, grow and promote video games and the interactive entertainment industry. The UKIE does this by making sure they have the right economic, cultural, political and the social environment the industry needs to have an successful video games. By joining the UKIE Trade body the games industry will automatically get support, advice, guidance, discounts so the games will be in a more positive, powerful, wider industry.

IGDA is short for international game developers association and it is one of the largest non-profit membership organisation in the world serving different individuals from different fields in the games industry such as writers, QA, artist, programmers and localization. they bring together the developers in the special interest groups to improve their lives. Alltogether they have 10,000 video and computer developers worldwide and incorperated in the united states. The IGDA's main mission is to advanced their careers and enchance their lives.
